Linda Thompson

Linda is the owner of Creative Framing & Creative Classes.  She earned her degree in Interior Design and is renowned for her unique shell-enhanced vases, frames and candle holders…each one a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.  She uses hand-blown glass vessels, leather boxes, mirrors and other found objects as a foundation, and artfully layers shells from both local beaches and around the word to create her award-winning designs.  Linda has placed 1^st in various art shows in the past 35 years including 1^st Place from the Sarasota Shell Club, as well as two Best of Show awards.  In addition to her shell-work, Linda keeps her finger on the pulse of the art community and is constantly learning new disciplines to bring to Creative Classes.  Her artwork can be found in Creative Framing’s gift gallery as well as at local art galleries and shops throughout Venice.
