Barbara Raymond

Barbara Raymond is an internationally-known watercolor artist with paintings hanging in Australia, Germany, UK, and Canada. She studied watercolor painting at Sarasota County Technical Institute alongside nationally-known artist Lois Carson.  After taking a workshop with Taylor Iken, she began specializing in painting on Yupo.  She’s been teaching watercolor on Yupo for the past nine years.  Barbara started painting in the late 1960’s and has participated in shows on the west coast of Florida from Venice to Ana Maria Island, receiving several awards.  She moved to Sarasota Florida from Ohio in 1957 and recently retired as an RN.  She now has a studio/gallery in the Red Barn Flea Market in Bradenton Florida.
